Jason is an Associate at Bell Law Group, providing counsel to both plaintiffs and defendants across a range of employment-related disputes. Prior to joining the firm, he served as Senior Counsel at the New York City Law Department, representing the City of New York in cases that frequently implicated the First and Fourth Amendments, on matters of policing, corrections and employment. Earlier in his career, Jason worked for the US Small Business Administration, and a New York-based firm where he helped negotiate collective bargaining agreements, counseled government clients on tax matters, employee discipline and First Amendment issues. While earning his JD, Jason interned with the US Department of Labor and AFGE Local 12. Prior to law school, he spent a decade working as a butcher and line cook in New York and Italy.
Jason is barred in New York as well as the S.D.N.Y. and E.D.N.Y., and has extensive experience presenting high profile cases in open court and negotiating final resolution through formal and informal means. As counsel, Jason seeks fair and long-lasting resolution of disputes through cooperation and productive dialogue.
