Nathalie L. Bell

Nathalie L. Bell is managing partner of the firm and a practicing attorney since 2002. Ms. Bell received her law degree from New York Law School in 2001 and began her career as an Assistant District Attorney (ADA) in the Queens District Attorney’s Office. After eleven years as an ADA, Ms. Bell brought her experience as a prosecutor with her to the Nassau County Police Department (NCPD) where she was appointed as Senior Counsel in the Department’s Legal Bureau and then subsequently promoted to the Deputy Bureau Chief. During her time at the NCPD, Ms. Bell also served as the Department’s Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Workplace Violence Representative, where she was in charge of screening and investigating all types of discrimination claims as well as complaints covered by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

In 2022-2023, Ms. Bell joined the New York City Police Department’s executive staff after being appointed as Counsel to NYPD Police Commissioner Keechant L. Sewell. While working in this role, she served as a confidant to the police commissioner, counseling her and the NYPD executive staff on a myriad of issues pertaining to police officer discipline, labor, employment, EEO and other related union matters.

Ms. Bell handles cases in New York State related to Private Sector, Federal Employee Employment issues, and Personal Injury. Her extensive knowledge and background in these fields and expertise in EEO matters have made her successful in obtaining the best results for her clients.

Ms. Bell is admitted to practice in New York State as well as the United States District Court in the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
