Panagiota Betty Tufariello

Panagiota Betty Tufariello helps business owners and entrepreneurs follow their dreams and achieve their business objectives by securing patents for their inventions; searching, clearing and registering their trademarks; registering their Copyrights; negotiating all sorts of business agreements including licenses; litigating and generally helping them leverage their intellectual property for a better and more secure future.  Ms. Tufariello has been an Adjunct Professor at Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University where she taught trademark law, and has been a guest speaker at a number of seminars teaching Intellectual Property Law.

Ms. Tufariello has an extensive background in science and technology. She attended and graduated the prestigious Brooklyn Technical High School in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, New York, where she made history by being the only student to have graduated from Brooklyn Tech after only a 2-year attendance. She was admitted to Medical School at the University of Athens, Greece. She attended Long Island University, The Brooklyn Center, where she received a Bachelors of Science in Chemistry, with an emphasis on analytical and physical chemistry. She was admitted into the Ph.D. Program for Organic Chemistry at Stony Brook University. Prior to attending law school, she began working in the pharmaceutical industry on Long Island, her last position being Director of Chemistry at Allergan Pharmaceuticals, the Contact Lens Division where she became fascinated with the combination of science, technology, and business, and decided to focus her life experience and education on Intellectual Property Law.
