Jake R. Stevens is an associate attorney in the employment law department of the Bell
Law Group, PLLC, primarily representing employees in wage and hour violations,
discrimination, whistleblower and retaliation cases. Mr. Stevens graduated from New
York University School of Law in 2019 after receiving his undergraduate degree from
NYU in 2008. Mr. Stevens is admitted to practice in the Courts of the State of New
York, the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New
York, the Second Circuit of the United States Court of Appeals, and the United States
Supreme Court.
Before joining the firm, Mr. Stevens served as a Trial Examiner at the New York City
Office of Collective Bargaining. There he analyzed complex factual records and legal
arguments involving improper practices, collective bargaining obligations, and labor-
management relations, drafted findings of fact and legal analyses for review by the
Board and conducted hearings and developed evidentiary records in cases arising
under the New York City Collective Bargaining Law (NYCCBL).
He previously worked on labor and employment issues at private firms, as union in-
house counsel, and in the nonprofit advocacy sector.
